The name Japoloco means "crazy Japanese" — a nickname owner Ryohei picked up while training as a chef in Spain. After running a Spanish bar in Japan for 18 years, he brought that experience to a side street four minutes' walk from BTS Phra Khanong. Daily tapas line the counter from around 100 baht, alongside jamón carved to order, paella and ajillo, all best paired with a glass of wine. Open until 2am with La Liga on the screens — a natural fit for football fans.
